We are thrilled to celebrate 15 years of dedicated service to the Kinvara community. Since opening our doors on 1st July 2009, KCCC has been committed to providing exceptional childcare, supporting parents, and fostering the development and well being of children through play. Our philosophy is centered on creating a nurturing, child centered environment where every child can thrive.
Before KCCC was established, a small playgroup operated at the former Court House on Court House Road. As Kinvara grew, so did the need for a larger childcare facility. In June 2004, a meeting organised by the Kinvara Community Council brought together a group of dedicated parents to discuss the development of a community creche. After years of planning, research and hard work €1.4 million in funding was awarded in 2006. The Kinvara Community Children’s Centre officially opened its doors in 2009, providing a modern, welcoming space for local children. In 2021, KCCC became an independent entity, forming Kinvara Community Childcare Services CLG.
We understand the crucial role we play in shaping happy, healthy, and confident individuals. Our commitment to excellence has made KCCC an integral part of the Kinvara community, providing a warm and inviting home away from home for your children. Today, KCCC caters to over 200 children, a 30 strong dedicated childcare team, offering a range of services to meet the needs of children and families in the area.
Join us as we celebrate this milestone with a special social night on Saturday, 19th October 2024 in the Oranmore Lodge Hotel with arrival from 7pm with dinner and dancing from 8pm. Tickets are €50.
