What early learning programmes do KCCC offer?

The KCCC offers a range of programmes for children aged six months to 12 years. Our early years programmes are delivered by fully qualified early childhood practitioners who are trained to implement the Irish national curriculum for ages 0 – 6 called Aistear, which focuses on four main themes: Communication, Identity and Belonging, Exploring and Thinking and Well-being. Age groups and developmental stages are divided into different rooms throughout the Centre as follows:

• The Toddler Room
• The Senior Room
• Playschool
• Educare
• After School

Which room is right for my child?

Your KCCC management team will assist you to identify the correct room for your child based on his/her age, abilities and interests. Our easy reference chart below can help you understand how a child progresses through the KCCC, however please keep in mind room spaces and progression is offered on the basis of availability and child stage of development. Please note your child may be placed on a waiting list.
